While we all sit around this Christmas spending time with family members and celebrating the birth of Christ, we truly have a tremendous amount to be grateful for this holiday season. We have been blessed with a nation that is a first of its kind where the Government was subordinate to The People and The People, subordinate to God. Freedom was at the forefront of what this county was established upon while humbly under the direction of God the Father. Such things as free speech, the right to assemble, along with the right to keep and bear arms were enshrined into the very documents that ruled the most free nation ever to be established.
To put it quite bluntly, “We the People” rule this land as stated in the declaration of independence. We The People is not the government or the institutions that were created under the direction of the government. We The People refers to me, you, our families, our neighbors and coworkers along with every other American. This is important to remember as over the years we seem to have collectively lost sight of this important fact.
We have allowed our government to erode our rights without so much as batting an eye. As of the last few years, the government has waged an all-out war against the Constitution along with those who demonstrate patriotism. The presidential election of 2020 was an outright coup d’état against the rightly re-elected President, Donald J. Trump (For those who need a refresher: A coup seeks to overthrow, is a seizure and removal of a government and its powers. Typically, it is an illegal seizure of power by a political faction, politician, government agency, rebel group, or military faction). On January 6th, 2021 President Trump invited all Americans to his Save America Rally outside the capital in Washington D.C. It was peaceful with a mass of American flags, patriotic attire, groups praying, and singing in a monumental display of American Patriotism.
Nowhere in President Trump’s speech did he insight violence or hate. He gave a speech which was as patriotic as any other given by a President. The Americans who showed up that day were showing support for freedom and the president they rightly re-elected. They stood in peaceful demonstration against a congress that was going to certify a stolen election. One that Congress had a duty to investigate, but refused.
